Shipping and Delivery

How will I know when my order has shipped?

When your order begins its journey to your destination, you will receive shipment confirmation and an email containing tracking information.

What if I Need to Change My Order?

If you want to cancel or change your order, please email us as soon as possible: support@movematerials.com.  We will make every effort to accommodate your request.

What if my Order Arrives Damaged or does not Arrive?

It is very important you inspect your order upon arrival. In the very rare event that your order arrives damaged, Move Materials will replace the item or, if a replacement is not desired, issue a credit for the amount of damaged item(s).

We do require that you inspect all shipments within 2 business days of arriving.  All damage must be reported to Move Materials within 2 business days in order to qualify for a refund or replacement: support@movematerials.com.

If an item is found damaged, please retain all packaging until our shipper can collect the items.  Do not discard any boxes or packaging materials that were included with the shipment. In order to fully process a damage claim, all original products and packaging materials must be provided.   Certain items ship freight and it is required that any damage to the actual item or to the packaging for the item be clearly notated on the delivery slip.

For freight shipments, please thoroughly inspect the entire shipment and make a note on the delivery slip of any damage to the exterior of the shipment or the contents of the shipment.  Any damage must be marked on the delivery slip.  If you are unable to inspect the contents of the shipment at the time of delivery, please mark "Damaged - Further Inspection Pending" on the delivery slip and notify Move Materials within 2 days of any damage.

Unfortunately, we will be unable to honor any damage claims if damage to the package is not noted on the delivery slip at the time of delivery and if we are not notified within 2 days of any damage.  If damage is found, it is necessary that all packaging and contents of the shipment be held until the claim is finalized.

If an item is showing as being delivered but you cannot locate the shipment, please check around the property at any possible delivery locations (FedEx and UPS often "hide" packages to protect them from theft) and ask any persons who might have accepted the package on your behalf.

If the package is still not located, don't hesitate to get in touch with us within 3 business days so we can file a trace with the delivery company to help locate the shipment.

Move Materials  is not liable for damage claims that are denied due to customer negligence.

How do I get in touch with you?

You can email us any time via suppor@movematerials.com. We work very hard to reply to all emails as quickly as possible and usually within the same business day.

Terminology

What is a Centerline Radius (CLR) and How is it measured?

The centerline radius, commonly known as the CLR, is the distance from the exact center of an elbow’s curve to the centerline (axis) of the pipe. The CLR is expressed as a number multiplied by the pipe or tube size.

To calculate your centerline radius, measure from the center of the elbow at the center point of the bend to where the ‘degrees of bend’ lines intersect (see image above). The distance from the intersecting points to the elbow’s center is your CLR.

The centerline radius is only one measurement on your elbow. You may also need to know the degree, line size, and tangential points to measure your elbow.

Why you need to know what your CLR is?

If elbows in your pneumatic conveying system need to be replaced due to wear or abrasion or if you’re designing a new layout for your system, correctly measuring your existing elbows to ensure you order the right size is key.

Other than the line size and making sure that you have the right degree, there are only two variables that affect the size of an elbow: one is the CLR, and the other is the length of the tangent, or the straight part of the elbow that comes off the curve. Basically, if you don’t know the CLR, you don’t know how long your elbow is.

You need to know your centerline radius so that you know the space your new elbow needs to fit into will fit. For instance, a 12 CLR is a lot smaller than a 24 CLR.

That’s why knowing your centerline radius is so important, because if you get it wrong and don’t get the correct elbow fit for your pneumatic conveying system, it can be an expensive mistake in terms of both money and time.

What is the maximum temperature for Standard and High Temp?

Standard Temp is (<150°) and High Temp is (<350°)

What is the difference between Y-Line and Flex Diverters?

Y-Line diverters feature high-quality aluminum construction with a stainless-steel blade.

Flex Diverters reduce the possibility of cross-contamination and feature clear PVC or Stainless-Steel flex hose and a polycarbonate viewing window.

Angel Hair Trap (AHT)

What is an Angel Hair Trap (AHT)?

Angel hair can wrap around augers, cause material to bridge hoppers, and contaminate a system. An Angel Hair Trap (AHT) can remove these stringers before they become a problem. Angel Hair Traps can also be used as a tool to pinpoint where angel hair is being created. You can install several or move them around the resin system to find problem areas.

How to install an Angel Hair Trap?

Attach the input line to the Inlet Tube at the top of the Angel Hair Trap. Ensure that the lines are butted against one another, and secure with a Compression Coupling.

Attach the output line to the Outlet Tube at the bottom of the Angel Hair Trap. Again, ensure that the lines are butted against each other and secure with a Compression Coupling.

Safety

Always connect the Angel Hair Trap so that the material goes in through the top of the Angel Hair Trap and out through the bottom.

Before operating, ensure that the lid and all knobs are on securely. Shut off the entire system before cleaning. Remove metal insert.

WARNING: DO NOT USE ON A PRESSURE LINE.
